Promise and Law

After a new member has been attending 1st Walsall Scout Group for a number of weeks and they are sure they would like to become an official member of the Scouting Association, they are invested, and at this ceremony they say the promise and law which is relevant to the section they are joining.

Below is the Scout Promise and Scout Law. There is also the Scouting motto which is be prepared which features in our logo. B.P. also happens to be the initials for Baden Powell who started Scouting.
