The Scout Association is one of the largest youth organisations in the world and everyone is welcome to be a member. There are two main types of membership youth and adult.

Youth Membership

The minimum age for youth membership is 6 whilst the maximum age is 25. The age a person is upon joining the Scout Association determine which of the five sections they will join.

If you are or know a person aged between 6 and 25 then please view the information for youth membership.

Adult Membership

adult membership is for people over the age of 25 that are interested in Scouting. These members may have previously been a Youth member who wished to stay in Scouting, the Parents of a Youth member or even somebody that is completely new and wishes to take part in the many fun activities that Scouting provides.
