Badges for Beaver Scouts

The following badges are specific to the Beaver Scouts, and as such can only be gained while in the Beaver Section. When moving from Beavers to Cubs these badges do not transfer as there are new Cub specific badges available.

In addition to the badges below there are the Staged Activity badges which are available to all sections.

The Challenge badges

There are six Challenge Badges that have been developed to extend Beaver Scouts skills and experience. They are the Promise Challenge, the Creative Challenge, the Fitness Challenge, the Friendship Challenge, the Global Challenge and finally the Outdoor Challenge.

Activity badges

Activity badges are optional but provide an opportunity to reward a young person who has taken part in an activity over a period of time. Beaver Scouts currently have twelve activity badges covering a range of topics including Adventure, Experiment, Health & Fitness, Hobbies, Imagination and Safety.

The Chief Scout's Bronze Award

This badge is the highest award available in the Beaver Scout Section. It is gained after successfully completing all of the Challenge Badges.
