Occasional Badges

During special events which run for a prolonged period of time, there are sometimes special badges that all members of the Scouting Movement wear. Recent Special Badges are shown below.

Join-in-Centenary Badges - 2007

2007 marked the Centenary of Scouting. To mark this event there were four badges designed to mark the Centenary Camps, Join-in-Centenary, Bring a Friend to Scouting and finally take part in the Scouting Sunrise in August 2007.

Ninety years of Cub Scouting - 2006

2006 marked the ninety anniversary of Cub Scouts. To mark this celebration Cub Scouts had this badge designed to wear throughout the year.

Twenty years of Beaver Scouting - 2006

2006 marked the twenty anniversary of Beaver Scouts. To mark this celebration Beaver Scouts had this badge designed to wear throughout the year.

The Queens Golden Jubilee - 2002

2002 was a memorable year in particular regard to the Royal Family. Princess Margaret (the Queens Sister) and the Queen Mother both passed away. Later in the year it was the Queen's Golden Jubilee - celebrating 50 years of her being Queen.

This badge was worn for the whole of 2002 marking this event which included many special Jubilee activity's such as special camps and events to honour the Golden Jubilee.
